1940s Garden Spray Archive

The record is a little sketchy for the first decade of the Club’s existence (1943, for instance, appears to be lost), and some of the issues a bit hard to read, but you may find them interesting. Many of our traditions, such as garden tours, the flower and vegetable show, and the holiday party, began in this first decade. In 1949, MWGCM hosted the national convention of the Men’s Garden Clubs of America. The July issue is rather hefty and served as the program for the national convention.
