1960s Garden Spray Archive

This decade was one of prominence for the Club. The Club had led the effort to establish the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in the previous decade, and played host to the Men’s Garden Clubs of America National Convention in this decade. It was a time of social upheaval in America, and you’ll find a few references to the social change going on in a publication devoted almost exclusively to gardening.
The collection for the 1960s is almost complete, except for a few pages missing from issues in 1964 and 1965. When I complete the other decades, I will go back in the dusty stack of old issues and fill in the gaps.  To read the Spray you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download here. Some of them are rather large files, so be patient as they load.
